Send your first radio RFP

Use a radio RFP to ask stations for options that meet the same brief. You can compare their responses before deciding how much to buy from each station.

Prepare the campaign

Open your campaign and choose Add media → Radio. Set the market, campaign dates, and primary audience. Have your budget and any requirements for station formats, listening habits, and relevant dayparts ready.

For a client campaign, confirm how much is available for media after included fees and commission.

Set the buying goals

Choose the dayparts and spot lengths you need. Set a target CPM for each combination and impression goals for the weeks you want to run. Use Additional notes to explain preferences, exclusions, and where you are open to alternatives.

Read planning radio goals if you need help turning the brief into weekly targets.

Select stations and submit

Review the stations serving your chosen market. Each station receives the same market brief; you choose the final split after seeing their offers.

Check dates, goals, notes, recipients, and the response deadline before sending. While the request shows Submitted, you can withdraw the submission to make changes before delivery. Follow any delivery-error message before resubmitting.

Compare the replies

Open the responses as they arrive. Check how each station answers the brief and ask questions in its conversation. Continue with compare radio responses.
