Import a CSV when you have several contacts to add or update. A preview lets you check what will happen before saving the list.
For buyer contacts, include email and supplier columns. You can also include first_name, last_name, station_property, title, and notes. The supplier must already be listed in Tap. Use station_property only when you want to link the contact to a particular station.
For supplier customer contacts, include email and customer. Optional columns are first_name, last_name, title, and notes. Use the customer organization's name as it appears in Tap.
For example, a buyer contact file could start with:
email,first_name,last_name,supplier,station_property,title
jane@example.com,Jane,Lee,Example Media Group,Example-TV,Sales manager
The names in this example are placeholders. Replace them with the actual names from your contact list and Tap.
Records with errors are skipped, so check the result instead of assuming the entire list was imported. Re-importing an existing contact updates the matching record rather than creating another copy.
Buyer contacts can help with supplier recipient selection. For suppliers, saving a customer contact does not invite that person into Tap. In-app messages and private Deals require a contact linked to an active customer account.
