Use the correct settings section
Buyer Settings contains Profile, Privacy, Security, Company, Team, Daily report, Billing, and Delete account. The older section URLs redirect to the matching area on the same page.
Personal settings affect your account. Company, Team, Daily report, and Billing can affect the whole buyer organization and require the matching capability.
Profile and privacy
Update your name, photo, role, and other personal profile fields. Privacy controls whether you are discoverable, whether your organization and role appear, and whether a public profile page is enabled.
Public-profile content is moderated before discoverability is enabled. If an update cannot be reviewed safely, Tap leaves the public setting unchanged. Turning discoverability and the public page off remains available.
Security
Use Security to request a password reset for the signed-in email address. Tap redirects through the normal account security flow. Sign out of shared devices when you finish.
Tap does not display stored passwords or external integration credentials in Settings.
Company
Company settings hold the organization name, logo, website, and public business profile. Only a teammate with Edit company can change them. Saving refreshes the application shell so the current organization identity appears consistently.
Team
Team access presets are:
- Planner: planning access without RFP or Order send authority.
- Buyer: Planner access plus sending RFPs and Orders.
- Admin: Buyer access plus team, company, and billing management.
- Custom: an exact capability set that does not match a preset.
Team managers can invite, resend, revoke, change access, transfer admin access, and remove members. Tap protects your own team-management capability when removing it would lock you out. Admin transfer makes the recipient an Admin and changes the current admin to Buyer access.
Daily report
The daily report schedule and content apply to the organization. Automatic generation and email delivery are separate controls. Choose a time zone, send time, and at least one content section. Read Set up your daily briefing for the complete behavior.
Subscription billing
Billing shows the current tier, billing cycle, trial progress, and subscription status. A teammate with Manage billing can start a trial, choose a plan, open the billing portal, or fix a payment-required state. Other teammates can see that billing needs attention but cannot change it.
Subscription billing controls workspace access. It is separate from the Tap fee invoices in Financials.
Delete your account
Account deletion is personal and requires entering the signed-in email. It deactivates the person and signs the account out. Organization records and transaction history can remain for other authorized members and audit requirements.
Review active assignments and transfer necessary team responsibility before deleting the only active account.
