Buyers open Personal settings from the account menu for Profile and Privacy and security. They open Team settings for the active workspace's Company section. Each section has its own URL.
Suppliers open their personal profile from the account menu and use the supplier Settings area for the active organization's company profile. A personal profile belongs to the person and stays with them when they change companies. Company details belong to the active workspace.
Your profile holds the details Tap and your teammates use to identify you:
Tap shows your account ID as reference information. Use the account ID when contacting Tap support.
Profile changes save only after you choose Save profile.
The personal Privacy and security section separates two visibility choices:
You can separately choose whether your role and active organization appear on the profile. Turning contact discovery off also turns off public web visibility. It does not delete your handle, private contacts, conversations, or transaction history.
A complete, moderated profile is required before Tap publishes it. If review rejects the content or cannot complete safely, the previous public version remains unchanged. Tap does not expose your email, phone, private notes, credentials, or workspace identifiers in discovery or on the public page.
When the profile is public, Profile shows Copy profile link and View public profile. Share the link only after checking the exact name, role, organization, bio, and image that appear.
Suppliers can open Settings > Profile > Privacy and turn on Share my contact details in RFPs. After you reply to a buyer's RFP, that buyer can see your work email and phone number when this setting is on. Save the privacy change to apply it.
This consent is separate from contact discovery and public web visibility. Work email and phone are never displayed on the public profile or in contact discovery.
If you are on a buyer team, Show my activity status lets you choose whether suppliers in shared conversations can see when you were last active and when you are online.
If you are on a supplier team, your activity status is always visible to buyers in shared conversations, so there is no switch to turn it off. Internal Tap accounts do not show an activity status.
Activity status is separate from profile discovery and web visibility.
The company profile covers the active organization's shared identity, including its logo, company name, website, category, description, and business address where available. Tap also displays a workspace ID for reference.
On supplier teams, editing the company profile requires Org settings. Buyer teams open Team settings > Company and need the Edit company capability. Without it, the fields remain read-only and a teammate with that access must make the change.
Showing an organization on your personal public profile does not give you permission to edit that organization. The link appears only while you remain an active member and the organization's public content passes review.
Deleting your account is a personal action. Confirm it by entering the signed-in email address.
Open Delete account
Buyers use Personal settings > Delete account. Suppliers use the available personal account controls.
Confirm your email
Enter the account email shown in the dialog, then choose Delete account again.
You are signed out
Tap signs you out immediately. Your account is marked deleted, not immediately erased.
Deleting your account does not delete the organization, its transaction history, or messages that must remain for other authorized members and audit requirements. Before deleting, confirm another teammate can manage the workspace and review your Brand and Campaign assignments.
