Getting started

Complete buyer onboarding and switch workspaces

Accept the buyer terms, add Brand websites, choose a plan, set profile visibility, invite teammates, and work in the correct buyer organization.

Complete the setup once

Buyer onboarding prepares the organization before the full workspace opens. Tap checks each committed step, so refreshing the page resumes from the next incomplete requirement.

  1. Accept the buyer terms

Review the linked terms, select the agreement checkbox, and continue. A workspace cannot open until the acceptance is recorded.

  2. Add Brand websites

Add the websites for the Brands your organization plans for. Tap creates reusable Brand records and can enrich their profile from those sites. Eligible returning workspaces may skip this step and add Brands later.

  3. Choose a Tap plan

Start the available trial, subscribe to Pro, or submit the Enterprise contact form. Billing access controls who can change the subscription later.

  4. Set up your profile

Add a photo and role, then choose whether the profile is discoverable, whether the organization is shown, and whether a public profile page is enabled.

  5. Invite your team

Enter up to 20 email addresses. New invitees join with buyer access that can plan and send RFPs and Orders. A team manager can adjust access later. You can also skip this step.

If an invitation is saved but email delivery fails, the invitation still exists. Resend or copy it later from Team settings.

Join through an agency invitation

Open the invitation link while signed in with the invited email address. Tap validates the invitation, organization, and account before adding the membership. If the link was opened under the wrong account, sign out and use the invited address. An expired, revoked, or already-used invitation cannot create a second membership.

Choose the acting workspace

When you belong to more than one buyer organization, use the workspace switcher in the navigation. The selected workspace controls which Brands, Plans, contacts, memories, permissions, subscription, and MCP actions you can access.

Changing workspaces does not merge data or move a Plan. Reopen the target object after the switch and check the organization name before a send, deletion, or external integration approval.

Fix common setup blocks

  • Terms required: return to onboarding and complete the agreement.
  • Brand website rejected: enter a complete public website URL and try again.
  • Payment required: ask a teammate with billing access to update the subscription.
  • Invitation email missing: check Team settings. A saved invitation can be resent even when the first delivery failed.
  • Wrong organization: use the workspace switcher, then reopen the page.
  • Setup appears complete but the workspace does not open: refresh once. If the committed status still does not advance, contact Tap support with the organization name and the blocked step.
