Getting started
Complete supplier onboarding
Join the correct supplier workspace, accept the supplier terms, confirm company details, and invite the people who will manage inventory and responses.

Supplier onboarding connects your account to the company that owns the inventory, responses, deals, and Orders you work on. Complete it before trying to manage a Supplier Property or answer an RFP.
Join the correct workspace
Open the invitation sent by your Tap workspace owner and sign in with the invited email address. The invitation determines which supplier organization you join.
If you already belong to more than one Tap organization, use the workspace switcher in the account menu to confirm the active company before making changes. Inventory, Pipeline items, deals, contacts, and settings belong to the active workspace.
If an invitation has expired or points to the wrong company, ask the workspace owner to send a new invitation. Do not create a second company as a workaround.
Accept the supplier terms
Tap shows the current supplier terms during onboarding. Read and accept them to continue. The terms explain the relationship between buyers, suppliers, and Tap, including how commitments and property representation work.
If the terms screen says another owner must complete the step, send the workspace owner to onboarding or Settings > Company. Other team members can continue after the required owner acceptance is recorded.
Confirm company details
Review the company name and other organization details shown during onboarding. These details identify your company to buyers and appear throughout shared workflows.
After onboarding, people with the right organization permission can update company information in Settings > Company. Keep public-facing information accurate so buyers can recognize the supplier behind a Property, deal, response, or Order.
Invite your team
Invite the people who manage inventory, route requests, prepare Avails, submit responses, or confirm Orders. Assign the least access each person needs.
Useful responsibilities include:
- managing Supplier Properties and their files
- viewing incoming RFPs and DOOH requests
- editing and submitting Avails
- managing deals
- confirming or declining Orders
- administering the team, company, and routing rules
A person may need different permissions for different parts of the workflow. See Manage your team and permissions for the current permission model.
Set up the operating workspace
After onboarding:
- Add or claim the Supplier Properties your team represents.
- Upload current rate cards, one-sheets, specs, and other property knowledge.
- Configure routing rules for incoming RFPs.
- Review notification and deadline reminder preferences.
- Open Pipeline to confirm your team can see the requests it is expected to handle.
See Set up supplier properties and Route incoming RFPs for the next steps.
Recover from a blocked step
If onboarding cannot continue, first verify that you are signed in with the invited address and working in the intended organization. Then refresh the page and retry.
For a missing permission, expired invitation, unresolved company ownership, or supplier terms issue, contact the workspace owner. Include the company name and the step that is blocked, but do not send passwords, session links, or confidential buyer material.
