Build and send radio Orders

Turn current radio Avails into an inspectable weekly station mix, adjust whole-spot quantities, and send each property an independent Order.

Build from current, orderable radio Avails

A radio Order starts from a submitted station Avail Response. The source revision supplies the daypart, exact schedule, spot length, weekly rates, and projected primary-audience impressions per spot. Tap snapshots those terms into the Order so both sides decide the same schedule.

Before building, confirm that the response is current and orderable. An expired, withdrawn, superseded, materially stale, or closed source cannot support a new Order.

Choose a composition

In the Plan's buying view, you can build a mix manually or review a generated composition:

  • Lowest cost chooses the available Avail with the lowest projected cost for each remaining weekly goal.
  • Highest reach favors the option that covers the goal with fewer spots, then higher projected reach per spot, then lower cost.
  • Balanced mix spreads delivery across properties before considering cost.

Tap subtracts delivery already placed in Ordered or Booked Orders, then calculates whole spots for the remaining primary-audience goal. Because spots are whole units, a suggestion can project over the target.

Review the radio mix

For every station and daypart, inspect:

  • the exact local days and hours;
  • spot length;
  • Alternative status and reason;
  • weekly requested spots;
  • immutable station spot rate;
  • projected impressions per spot;
  • projected weekly impressions and cost; and
  • effective CPM against the RFP goal.

Adjust weekly spot quantities when the generated shape does not reflect reach, frequency, property mix, promotion timing, or another approved Plan constraint. A quantity of zero contributes no spots, cost, or projected delivery for that week.

Review total cost, projected impressions, effective CPM, property count, and any underdelivery, overdelivery, or above-goal-CPM advisories. An advisory calls for judgment. It does not silently block or approve the buy.

Create one draft Order per station

Turning the selected composition into Orders creates a separate draft for each Supplier Property. That boundary matters: each station receives only its own inventory and can confirm or decline independently.

Draft quantities remain editable. Rates, audience projections, daypart windows, spot length, and alternative notes come from the source Avail revision and are shown as snapshotted supplier terms.

If the source response changes materially before send, Tap can mark the draft stale. Return to the current response and rebuild instead of sending terms that no longer represent the available inventory.

Review and send

Before sending a radio Order, confirm the station, every daypart window, weekly spot quantity, spot rate, projected delivery, total cost, and buyer message. A zero-spot Order cannot be sent.

Choose Send Order for one station or Send Orders after reviewing a batch. Each supplier receives its own immutable Order and can confirm or decline it. Sending moves the Order out of the editable draft state.

Follow the station decision

An Ordered radio Order is waiting for the supplier. The station can confirm the whole Order or decline it. Booked terms are immutable. If an Order is still pending and should no longer be confirmable, withdraw it; the sent terms remain in history.

After confirmation and the flight, the supplier can submit Post-Buy actual spots, primary-audience impressions, and actual cost against the confirmed weekly lines.
