Open setup as a workspace admin
Copy the Tap email shown in Google Analytics setup. Tap support must approve the property for your workspace.

Grant Viewer access
Add the displayed email as a Viewer in your GA4 property’s access management settings.

Check access and open the report
Return to Tap, enter the property ID and check access. Save the connection to view the aggregate report.

Can the Tap planner read my connected Google Analytics report?
No. This integration displays a report in Integrations for workspace admins; it does not expose the report to the planner. You can share aggregate figures in a Tap conversation to ask for help interpreting them.
What access does the connection need?
A workspace admin adds Tap’s displayed email as a Viewer to the GA4 property. Tap support must also approve that exact property for your workspace. Google accepting the email alone does not complete activation.
Does this install tracking or change Google Analytics settings?
No. The integration reads aggregate visitors, sessions, views and key events for the last 30 complete days. It does not install tracking, import individual visitors or change the property’s settings.
